I liked the comment "Passive, worried people are being shaped by someone other than God". Children and adults need to learn how to be shaped through the hard times with God, instead of escaping and looking to something else. Looking to God to realize that he is with them helping them getting to grow.

Yeah, but those people who think they are doing right are often so prideful that they do not know they are doing wrong and end up dis-pleasing everyone. Paul nails it right when he says those who are trained to please everyone turn out deceptive because they are given an impossible task and will do anything to make it happen. Much like a candidate for office. Oops! Did I say that?

True love is doing what is right, not pleasing everyone.
