If you received a research grant to study a different religion, which would you be most interested in learning more about?

- “I’d first choose my own Faith, Catholicism, and then I’d be interested in our “elder brother.”

- “I Am interested in studying many religions, but Islam would be number one because it has so much influence in the world,”

- “Mormons. It’s homegrown and the one’s I know are nice.”

- “Christianity, Judaism, AND Islam all believe in the Old Testament. I believe it’s more important to learn and understand what unites us versus what divides us.”

As a Christian, I think it’s wise to be aware of the beliefs of other religions, as it makes us wiser when talking with others, but we need to have the greatest knowledge and understanding Christianity.

With such a large portion of the Muslim world declaring hatred for the Christian/Jewish world, the more we know of them the better. Perhaps at some point someone will be able to find a middle ground where the less radical Muslims can persuade the radicals to accept living in peace with their neighours.
