Portland hosts pizza party for homeless

PIZZA PARTY FOR HOMELESS COMES TO PORTLAND

(PORTLAND, ORE. –) On Wednesday, June 16, at 6pm, homeless guests for the evening meal at Portland Rescue Mission, 111 W. Burnside,  will be treated to a pizza party for homeless men, women and children.  Pizza for the Hungry: A Smile Brings Hope is organized in cities spanning 25 states by eyeBLINK, a New York based non-profit.  They will provide pizza for all guests.  eyeBLINK provides food, entertainment and joy to shelters and missions throughout the United States.  “We are honored to partner with eyeBLINK for this special event to serve hurting and hungry people here in Portland” says Eric Bauer, Executive Director of Portland Rescue Mission.


Portland Rescue Mission serves up to 750 hot meals each day, 365 days a year to thousands of local men, women and children.
