NW church foils arsonist

Oregon News Note: An arsonist broke into the United Methodist Church in Castle Rock, Washington. The suspect tried to start a fire six separate times inside the church but failed. The video captures the many objects he burned but was unable to set fully aflame. The church pastor, Vonda McFadden, said,”I can say nothing else other than God was with us. There’s no doubt in my mind”. The intruder stole some communion wine and bread, left and was later apprehended by police. The United Methodist Church is over 100 years old.
