Church tries rap video to reach people

By Oregon Faith News Note,

The Gold Creek Community Church in Mill Creek just produced a rap video to get people thinking about coming back to church. A few of their middle-aged members spent 100 hours putting together a catchy song and top notch video set an originally created rap song. It includes everything a rap must have including giant gold chains, the car cruise and dare we mention — one booty shake.

One of the church members who created the video told the news “Everyone’s getting back to school and back to sports, and we just wanted our people to think – not just get back to church as well, but get back to church and make it a part of your everyday life. So we thought, ‘Hey, what better way to do that than putting ourselves out there and doing a rap?”
