In light of recent news [5] of 1.2 billion names & passwords stolen by Russian hackers reminds us how vulnerable we are and it reflects upon ID thefts here at home. A few months ago over 70 people who were employees or former employees of the Portland Archdiocese reported being victim of ID theft. In this local case, the thieves used the ID’s to launch early tax returns.
