An Oregon group, Parents Rights In Education [6], released a press release about a new policy that would allow children as young as 15 to be able to receive a sex change operation and have it be covered under the Oregon Health Plan. This story was picked up by Fox News last week and made the story national. KOIN-TV 6 also did a news story on it as well going deeper into the details of the news account.
