Christian bakers pay fine, do TV interview

Oregon Faith News Note,

The Oregon Christian bakers, Aaron and Melissa Klein, who refused to bake a gay wedding cake for Rachel and Laurel Bowman-Cryer have paid the outstanding $135,000 fine issued by the Bureau of Labor and Industries. Recently the Kleins told the media that they would not pay the fine but did so last week. The Kleins further stated that they hope to win on appeal. The lawyer for Rachel and Laurel Bowman-Cryers stated, “My clients are happy the Kleins paid the fine and are moving forward, and hope to see the ruling upheld on appeal.”

There was no press release response found on the case by the couple or BOLI, but the Kleins did do a Fox News TV Interview on Sean Hannity show. Below is the news clip.
