[5]10 year cancer survivor and faith author speaks on his story

The Oregonian and Providence Hospital recently have profiled NW author and cancer survivor John Kohlenberger. Kohlenberger has written over three dozen Christian reference books [6] but his greatest faith challenge has been in the battle over cancer. In 2002, John was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was told his body was full of cancer and that likely he may only live another two years. Kohlenberger has been a small miracle story as he survived for nearly a decade with cancer. He stated to the Oregonian that his relationships and friendships are vastly more important than “being a footnote in somebody’s paper.”
