A Portland Catholic who has spent more than a decade helping mothers involved in the sex trade is raising money to feed their families who face starvation because of the coronavirus pandemic, particularly those in African nations, India, and Indonesia.

Brian Willis, 62, who attends St. Mary Cathedral, cofounded Global Health Promise in 2007 to advocate for trafficked mothers and their children. During the pandemic, the organization has raised money for local groups to purchase and deliver food to the mothers and children.  For more information, please read the Catholic Sentinel and full story here [6].
