After a lengthy Portland Police Bureau investigation, US Marshals arrested a 61-year-old man from Boring accused of sexually abusing one girl for many times over nearly a decade between the time she was three and 12, and since his arrest, other victims have come forward. Daniel Robert Eggleston faces charges of 10 counts of first-degree sex abuse, first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, and first-degree mistreatment. Although he volunteered for at least 10 years with the Mannahouse Church childcare program, formerly City Bible Church at 9200 Northeast Fremont Street, none of the victims said they knew him from the church.
