Preston Newby, recent Alumni of Multnomah University and Youth Pastor at Lake Bible Church in Lake Oswego, was killed in 2008 by a motorist while helping an accident victim. The young widow, Tara Newby, has had her story picked up by Farmer’s Insurance and even made into a TV commercial. Currently Newsweek is doing a story for their August 24th edition. Preston’s alumni, Multnomah Bible College runs a Preston and Tara Newby update blog. Here is the Farmer’s Insurance ad:
