A federal judge, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker, overturned California’s same sex-marriage ban Wednesday. The case is expected to go before the U.S. Supreme Court.
California voters approved Proposition 8 in November 2008, a mere 5 months after the California state Supreme Court had legalized same-sex marriage.
