Oregon faith healing parents Timothy and Rebecca Wyland have been found guilty of first degree criminal mistreatment for refusing to give medical attention to their daughter. The couple could be sentenced up to five years in prison. Their baby daughter was suffering from a growing blood vessel around her eye called hemangioma. The vessel almost caused blindness. The daughter recovered only after she was forced into state medical care. The couple are members of the Followers of Christ church in Oregon City. Another Oregon faith healing couple in a different case just ended serving more than a year in prison for their medical neglect verdict.
