‘Deep in the Heart’ Movie Inspires Life Changes Through Faith, Family and Redemption
TWENTY 8 ENTERTAINMENT proudly announces the opening of “Deep in the Heart,” the inspirational true story of Texas native Richard Wallrath, that proves faith brings second chances. Shot in and around Austin, the independent movie opened in theaters Texas-wide on February 17, 2012. A complete list of participating theaters can be found at www.deepintheheartmovie.com.
This full-length motion picture stars Jon Gries, Elaine Hendrix, DB Sweeney, James Haven and Val Kilmer. Texas Governor Rick Perry makes a cameo appearance as himself in the movie. This is a story of faith, love of family, and ultimately redemption.
After losing everything — job, family, hope — Richard Wallrath found the strength to turn his sinful life around through a renewed faith in God. He comes to realize that the importance of family and the love for his children were the true measure of a man’s success.
With his sons, Wallrath went on to build a successful business and used his newfound wealth to become the highest all-time individual donor to Texas 4-H and FFA programs, providing hundreds of educational scholarships.
Although the film is rated PG-13 due to some thematic elements that may be too intense for younger children, the movie contains no sexual content or profanity.
