Eugene has several phenomenal outreach programs available to anyone in need of assistance. One of wich serves more than 7,000 at risk youth and families each year.
Looking Glass is a private, nonprofit organization committed to assisting clients in navigating life’s challenges, so they can lead healthier, happier and more productive lives.
The agency provides a continuum of integrated services, ranging from prevention to treatment, through a variety of innovative programs. Counseling, 24-hour crisis intervention, substance abuse treatment, education and vocational training are just a few examples of the services they offer.
Most programs span the diverse fields of Mental Health, Juvenile Justice, Education, Youth Development and Workforce Readiness. They also work closely with, and help shape, the major systems that impact the young people and families in the community as well as around the state of Oregon.
If one was interested in helping out, there are various areas in which you can donate your time.
