Oregon Faith Report News Note: All animals of various sizes, breeds and types were blessed at the annual blessings of the animals ceremony on St. Paul Episcopal Church in Salem. Last Sunday several of these animals were prayed over for their blessings and protection. The Statesman Journal reported the reverend as saying “”It’s often a zoo here at St. Paul’s — figuratively — but today it’s literally.”
