Oregon State Senator Mark Hass authors adult business zoning law
Oregon Faith News Note:
Oregon State Senator Mark Hass has sponsored two bills to allow cities to establish zoning laws for adult establishments. The laws would need to be put in the Oregon constitution and which requires a vote of the people.

In favor of zoning is Lisa Leithauser of S.O.S Oregon. Lisa told KATU that “The owners found people having sex in their cars in her parking lot. Men have come over there and urinated in their bushes. So when you have these known issues with these businesses where they’re essentially harassing other businesses out of the area and businesses are vacating their leases. It becomes an issue for the neighborhood.”
