A Gresham and Seattle incident recently shed light on a new crime wave
By Oregon Christian Post,
In Seattle, police are looking for a man who is posing as a fake police officer who is evicting people from their cars. The fake cop drove off with one person’s cars. The impostor suspect was waving a gun as he approached people asking them to move their vehicles. KSN News video below shows more details. Closer to home a Gresham man posed as a police officer who pulled over a Damascus teen while driving. The fake cop threatened the teen and took his wallet. Surprisingly this Gresham fake cop did not leave the scene of the crime but was there when the real police arrived. The fake cop was arrested and identified as Darren Goff. HE pleaded not guilty in court and earlier told officers he just wanted to frighten the teen as a way of setting him straight.
