Remember this casting call for  Portlandia Season 3 filming on campus?

Portlandia TV Show Features Multnomah University Campus

Portlandia filmed a number of sketches for season 3 for two days this past summer and we had a blast. The Portlandia film crew and actors were some of the best people we’ve ever had the privilege of working with. It was great seeing Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen hanging around the Admissions Offices or sitting in the commuter lounge of the JCA or sweating it out for three hours with Dr. Dan Lockwood in a very hot Mitchell Library because the sound guys needed the AC turned off!

 

Which Episodes?

Portlandia Season 3

  • 1 (300) – Winter in Portlandia (Available for Free online at Hulu.com)
  • 2 (301) – Take Back MTV (Dr. Lockwood makes a cameo)
  • 9 (308) – still not named and it might change – we’ll try to let everyone know if we hear differently.

How To Watch?

  • IFC – check local listing times or your provider’s on demand service (find a friend who has it)
  • Hulu – First episode is free – no word yet on how much more they will carry beyond normal clips
  • iTunes – Looks like it’s $2.99/episode
  • Amazon – $2.99/HD episode or $1.99/SD episode
We’ll try to keep you updated on new clips or episode changes that we hear of. Maybe someone wants to put together a big viewing party for the big episode 9 one (that we here actually will be “Multnomah University” as the setting!).
