UofP hosts Women of the Bible concert

University of Portland presents Women of the Bible concert in Chapel of Christ the Teacher, April 2

The University of Portland will present the concert, Women of the Bible, on Saturday, April 2, at 7 p.m., in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher on the University campus, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd. The concert is free and open to the public, with a reception to follow.

The concert will feature world premieres of music and poetry inspired by the feisty, faithful women of the Bible along with well-loved classical works. Confirmed artists include Nicole Leupp Hanig, Valerie Saul, Eva Wolff Hortsch, Susan McDaniel, Cythia Gerdes, and Eva Hooker C.S.C.
