Pastors scores big with detective novel

Chip Tudor Communications,

Chip Tudor has a unique background in his professional career. He’s a freelance copywriter, author, playwright and pastor all rolled into one. And all sides are demonstrated in his newly published, all 5-star rated detective novel, Soul Pursuit.

“As a copywriter, I specialize in a conversational style that works well for a first person, narrative book,” says Tudor. “As a playwright, I enjoy writing sharp, funny dialogue and as a pastor I strive to include a meaningful message that honors God. I think Soul Pursuit delivers all of this.”

Tudor’s unusual work experience began as a pastor on church staff. But when circumstances led him out of ministry, he forged a new career as a freelance copywriter where he wrote for recognizable names like Wendy’s, Lexis-Nexis, John Maxwell and Gospel Light Publishing.

Years later when God opened up another church staff position, Tudor continued writing as a copywriter adding four non-fiction books and numerous skits and plays to his writing portfolio as well.

“I enjoy writing and feel it is another way for me to serve the Lord,” says Tudor. “Now I look forward writing a series of Jack Sterling detective novels.”
