Youth pastor turned cop gets viral moment over good deed

When he saw an elderly man pushing his lawnmower with one hand and holding a cane in the other, Albany Police Officer Jon Wymore didn’t hesitate. The former dietitian and youth pastor who joined the police force a year ago stopped his patrol car and offered to help, according to the Oregonian/OregonLive. Sgt. Alex Johnson, who was supervising 32-year-old Wymore, snapped a photograph of the officer mowing the yard that received 20,000 likes on Facebook. Wymore said he loves to help people and serve.
