Oregon to host March for Life May 18th

A March for Life is being held this Saturday May 17th

A Right to Life Press Release states;

“On May 22, 1969 Oregon became one of the first states in the nation to legalize abortion, this was then followed by the infamous Roe v. Wade in 1973 which made abortion the “law of the land” until it was overturned in 2022.

Join thousands of Oregonians on May 18th at the Oregon State Capitol as we continue to advocate for a culture of life in Oregon. The band will begin playing at 2:05pm with speakers starting at 2:30pm. The Oregon March for Life will begin immediately following. 

For over 50 years, Oregon Right to Life has gathered pro-life advocates of all ages annually to remember the lives lost to abortion and encourage hope and action to support mothers to choose life for their children. This new date signals a renewed focus and acknowledgement that the responsibility to regulate abortion has been rightfully returned to the people through their elected officials.”
