Collaborative efforts to create a $7 million child care center known as the Northwest Early Learning Academy in Newberg, which will open by 2027 and serve 200 children, recently own a corporate philanthropy innovation award, according to The Portland Business Journal. A-Dec, a dental equipment maker, George Fox University and Northwest Christian Church worked together to fill a need for child care service children six months through preschool. The church owns the property where the learning center is being constructed.
