Facebook has rejected a new family-friendly Fourth of July video that recounts America’s Christian heritage, because it doesn’t follow the company’s “advertising policies for advertising adult products or services.”
A Barna survey found that 59% of American adults believe that “Christians and Muslims worship the same God even though they have different names and beliefs regarding God.” And it’s not just secular people who believe that “all religions are basically the same”:
All people are equal in worth, but they differ in gifting and performance. God is the creator of diversity, and diversity means “inequality” of gifting (1 Corinthians 12:14-20). Because God promises to reward people differently according to their differing levels of faithfulness in this life, we should not expect equality of possessions and positions in Heaven.

Samantha Bee is no stranger to Catholic bashing, so it was hardly surprising to learn that she ripped the Catholic Church in her June 21st show. Her focus was the Child Victims Act, a bill being considered by the New York State legislature. The least controversial aspect of the bill is extending the number of years that alleged victims could sue; the most controversial component is allowing a one-year window to revive old cases.
Oregon Right to Life has been fighting a sinister bill, SB 494, in the Senate since the beginning of session. This bill, which passed the Senate 17-13, would have given the power to health care representatives to starve and dehydrate people with mental illnesses including dementia.

There were 884 participants surveyed about their Christian life and how church affected their wellbeing. The majority of participants: attended church at least 4+ times/month (80%); were female (73%); ages 18-30 (39%); reside in the USA (56%); college or post-graduate degree (30%); employed (37%) and evangelical (77%).
